Here is an idea for one  of your months photos contest.
I am a follower of Jared Pollen of Froknowsphoto.com Jared has a great segment in which we take a RAW file that Jared has chosen.
We the Fro-Nation put our own created ideas to it.
It is a lot of fun and it shows you how everyone has a different vision of how the photo could look.
We get to use any editing program you want, such as Photoshop and Lightroom. You can get some really crazy edits.
At the end of the month jpeg2raw Facebook Group would vote on their favourite Raw edit.

Sounds like a great idea.

We may do that for January in addition to the normal contest (since the winner will not want to lose their month).

I like the idea of challenging us not only to take photos but to learn from editing and seeing other's edits.

Great idea!

Yes I agree Mike and it is a great way to learn from others how powerful Photoshop and Lightroom are.
There are some amazing things you can do in Photoshop and it amazes me what ideas people come up with.
